Aspen Snowmass

No other town is as synonymous with Colorado and skiing as Aspen. A year-round destination, Aspen embodies the epic beauty of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, with its high mountain passes, lush valleys, and snow-melt rivers. This sculpture captures the town of Aspen at 7,891 feet, nearby Snowmass Village, and the four local ski areas of Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. Also featured is the western end of the stunningly scenic Independence Pass along with the Roaring Fork River and its local tributaries Hunter Creek, Castle Creek, and Maroon Creek.
